 QUINCE PELÍCULAS EN LA SECCIÓN OFICIAL
Quince largometrajes y otros tantos cortos competirán en la Sección oficial de la Semana Internacional de Cine de Valladolid, que se proyectarán junto a otros cortometrajes.
La Sección Oficial se completará con 7 películas fuera de concurso, tres de ellas documentales: An Inconvenient Truth,de Davis Guggenheim; Once in a Lifetime: The Extraordinary Story of the New York Cosmos, de Paul Crowder y John Dower, y ¡Que sea rock!, de Sebastian Schindel.
Asimismo cabe mencionar que otras 7 películas de esta sección optan al Premio ‘Pilar Miró’ Al Mejor Nuevo Director, dotado con 15.000 € para el director que compita con su primer o segundo largometraje. Es el caso de las siguientes: Más que a nada en el mundo, de Andrés León y Javier Solar; Friss Levegö, de Ágnes Kocsis; Omaret Yacoubian, de Marwan Hamed; Der Lebensversicherer, de Bülent Akinci; Das Fraülein, de Andrea Staka; Ciudad en celo, de Hernán Gaffet y Yureru, de Miwa Nishikawa.
Tres de las películas que concursan en la Sección Oficial, optan también a los premios Altadis-Nuevos Directores y Montblanc de Nuevos Guionistas: Lo que sé de Lola / Ce que je sais de Lola, Mon fils a moi y Vete de mí.
